A forced duet

Two men on a stage – one (him) seemingly lifeless and slow, the other (he) active and trying to seduce his partner into a dance. However, that attempt is turning ‘he’ himself into an inanimate thing. ‘Raphaël’ is a quest for the overlaps between subject and object, between intimacy and perversion – two bodies pushing the boundaries of what appears to be a pure dichotomy, to then let these boundaries blur in a mutual complicity.
